Tricia Penrose

Tricia Penrose, is well known for her role as Gina from Heartbeat.  Tricia wanted to get over her fear of creepy crawlies.  Whenever she was faced with anything with more than 4 legs she would panic and react inappropriately, waving her arms about and screaming.  In public this got embarassing, at home she was very consciencious it was setting a bad example to her young son,  

It took just under an hour for Tricia to completely change her behaviour.  She felt calm and relaxed at the thought of any household insect and even summoned the courage and had the cool to confront a Madagascan Hissing Cockroach.

Marcus Patrick

Marcus is well know for his role as Ben in Hollyoaks and more recently Hollyoaks In The City.  Marcus came to see us with a concern with heights.  Living in an apartment whenever he was on his balcony he would feel dizzy and anxious. 

An hour of work with Marcus meant he felt alot more relaxed and comfortable with heights.  Below you can see him leaning out of one of the heightest windows in the Princess Hotel, Manchester to test his new found confidence with heights.  He then took it to the next stage and abseiled down the outside of the Printworks in Manchester.

An amazing feet for someone who just a few hours earlier had said he couldnt cope with his apartment balcony!

Daniel Brocklebank

Daniel recently was playing the part of “Ivan” in Emmerdale.   He came to see Equipped4life to help him get over his fear of the dark.  He knewn it was irrational and didnt know where the phobia had come from, even thinking about being in the dark brought on signs of panic and anxiety.  He was eager to overcome his fear as it was beginning to effect his career and his personal life.  Daniel was with equipped4life for little over 1 hour. 

After showing Daniel a few simple equipped4life techniques it was immediately obvious that even the thought of the dark wasnt bothering Daniel, as it had previously.  However that wasnt enough to prove he had changed.  Daniel took himself to what is reputedly a haunted church in Manchester, which has been featured in the TV show "Most Haunted".

Areas inside where pitch black.  Daniel strode out alone and really faced his fear.  Walking out of the darkness smiling and laughing!  He was a different person!.
